Stuck with deathscreen after spawn

Describe the issue

I would occasionally spawn in and have a black blurry screen which seems to be the deathscreen. https://youtu.be/WSQMY4zFagg

What is the expected behaviour?

No black screen after spawn

When did it happen?

I have my recording bound to PgUp/PgDn and i could reproduce the issue 3x when deliberately clicking it before making the spawn selection.

A way to fix this quickly is opening up the scoreboard, otherwise you may be stuck in this for minutes.
