UI Change: HidePrefs should remove entirely, instead of grey out?

I think it would be more consistent with the HideQuit behavior if Preferences was removed entirely by HidePrefs, instead of being greyed out. We'd prefer our users not see the options at all if they can't access :)

We'll take another look at this. There's a hidden menu item "Dump Logs" that's attached to the Preferences menu item which complicates removing it from the list.

Personally, I like that it's greyed out rather than removed entirely. Maybe this behavior - hidden vs greyed out - is also an option?

heh, if we make the grey out optional for Preferences, we'd have to do that for all the menu items!

We'll re-look at this for the 1.1 release as I doubt many people are using the dump logs function. So it's possible that we could more easily remove this entirely.

As things stand though, "HidePrefs" is misleading. "Hide" preference keys (HidePrefs, HideRenew, etc.) should probably be renamed to something more accurate. Perhaps "DisablePrefs" or "DeactivatePrefs", and so on is an idea?

I like the idea of DeactivatePrefs vs HidePrefs in order to accomplish the hide entirely vs greyed out option.
