FR: Support for line breaks in MessagePasswordChangePolicy & MessageLocalSync
Given password requirement complexities, having them all listed as one single string of compact text can make reading a bit challenging.
I'd like to request supporting line breaks for the MessagePasswordChangePolicy and MessageLocalSync preferences so you could create messages like this:
Your new password must have at least:
8 characters,
1 lowercase letter,
1 uppercase letter,
and 1 number or symbol.
Your Keychain password on this computer is not in sync.
Please enter your current password to update the Keychain.

When I run the command you specify with \n for new lines in Terminal on a test computer without a profile applied I can confirm it successfully interprets the new lines.
However, in order to upload a PLIST to a profile in our MDM we have to convert PLISTs from binary to XML. I'm wondering if this is the issue here, as when I try to set this preference through a profile it doesn't achieve the desired result.
I've tried this a few ways now, which have all failed:

With the PLIST in XML (I use TextWrangler) simply hit the return key after each line, so it looks like the text below, and upload to our MDM:
<key>MessagePasswordChangePolicy</key> <string>Your new password must have at least: 8 characters, 1 lowercase letter... </string> -
With the PLIST in binary, enter the command as you specified with \n in the string. Converted to XML and uploaded to our MDM.

With the PLIST in XML, enter the command as you specified with \n in the string. Converted back to XML and uploaded to our MDM.

With the PLIST in binary, add \n directly to the string in TextWrangler. Converted to XML and uploaded to our MDM.
Long story short, I can't seem to get new lines to work when attempting to deploy this preference through a profile.
