Feature Request - Add a UI to indicate that NoMAD is attempting to mount a File Share

Please add some kind of UI element to let the user know that NoMAD is attempting to mount their file share once they click on a file share.

Any preference for how to show this?

We already keep track of the state of the mount, so it would be easy to show the menu item accordingly.

What we probably won't be able to do is update the shares menu while it's enabled. In that if you're actively hovering over the shares menu it won't be updated. But letting go of the mouse then clicking again on the menu will have it updated.

It would be fine if you could show Apple's native "Connecting to server" window. I noticed that you used it when a user mounts their Home drive.

An interesting thought. Currently we do all the mounting in the background, and that would probably still be valid for shares you want to mount silently, but when a user manually mounts a share mount it with the macOS UI.

Yeah, exactly, that would be perfect. I can foresee users getting confused when they manually click on a share and they get no feedback that anything is happening until the share mounts.

Currently finding 'open smb://server/share' to be problematic with how the shares are currently architected. Looking into other options.
