GUI uses English even if another language is chosen

Language changes back to English for some strings by itself even if another language is still chosen in the settings, and have to be chosen again or the app has to be restarted. It is mostly the settings that changes language back and forth.

when it switches to English, and you go back to the Langauges menu, what language does it show as selected? Does it still show your preferred language? Does it show English? Or nothing at all?

Yes it looks like a duplicate of #943 (closed). When I click Settings the language could be in Swedish as it should, then I click for example Near, then I go back to settings and the language has changes to English but the chosen language is still set to Swedish.

Why not just set Swedish as your device's system language?

try with 0.103 (not alpha). I think I fixed this actually

@jony also, if your device is set to use Swedish for all apps, then F-Droid will show Swedish. The bug where it switches to English comes from using the Languages preference in F-Droid, as far as I have seen. So go to the Languages preference, and choose "System Default", and it should show in Swedish, and stay in Swedish.

@eighthave It didn't work to update to 0.103 (not alpha) but it seems to have started to work by changing language to System Default.
