Rework "App compatibility" settings section
- Device OS and version: LineageOS 14.1
- Device model/manufacturer: Fairphone 2 (FP2)
- F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.0-alpha1
- F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): 0.2.5
What did you do? (clear steps if possible)
Using the Settings tab, specifically the "App compatibility" section, to see strings on context while translating related strings to other language in my computer.
What did you expect to see?
Consistent options, gruped by similarity, with clear descriptions.
What did you see instead?
Confusing options involving different actions not well-explained for different subselection of apps.
Remarks:
- The "ignore" verb seems to hide some apps in an option while only grey out in another option
- The first option refers to version of apps, not apps themselves
- The last option is specially indecipherable: if I mark "ignore touchscreen", then apps requiring touchscreen are... filtered out? Or then apps not requiring touchscreen are included? What apps does not require touchscreens, anyway? It's Android, :|
How can those options be improved? Sugestions?
