Apps show up in random languages

• Device OS and version: Android 7 Lineage
• Device model/manufacturer: Sony XP Z5 Compact
• F-Droid version (in the About screen): 1.0-alpha4
• F-Droid privileged extension version (if installed): A non-updated and non-OTA version.

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

Used fdroid client on a fresh OS installation without ever changing the language. My system is set to en_AU. This isseu might be related to #225 but is not the same.

What did you expect to see?

All app descriptions in english as far as available.

What did you see instead?

Descriptions in English, German and French.
