Remove strings in arrays

Fix support for array translation by using string resources as string array items.

deafult_repo.xml contains repo information, it should not be translated. If you want to translate repo names and descriptions, that information should go in the index, not the client.

Thanks for the quick reply! About the repo descriptions, now I understand. I hope the issue related to the strings in array.xml is easy to fix.

There are missing items though, the new ones: "Weekly" and "Every 2 Weeks".

mmm I tried to find them in "Not translated", since they are appearing in English in my (Spanish) F-Droid client. Now I see them, translated, in the translation system. Are there two issues then?

• One about the missing "Weekly" and "Every 2 Weeks"

• Another one about, at least, Spanish translations not arriving the /res/values-es/arrays.xml file...

• Sure, missing items sounds like a bug.
• We pull translations from the wiki manually, so chances are you translated those after we did the pull for 0.83. It was done on friday IIRC.

AFAIK arrays have temporarily stopped working since we are using a newer version of the translatewiki script to pull translations. Reassigning to @CiaranG.

Is it possible to just manually edit the corresponding strings.xml in the repo, add the missing strings, and do a MR?

#140 (closed) unveiled that we can and should fix this on the android resources side, which I will.
