Opening the "local repo" permanent notification yields a different activity state

So I open a "local repo" activity, enable it and the notification shows up. I exit, click on the notification, and I am brought back to the local repo activity. But this time, the "touch to turn on your local repo" checkbox is disabled, as if the activity had been started again from scratch, without remembering that it is still enabled. Enabling it does nothing, apparently, and then from then on it works as expected.

I suppose this could be solved by only allowing one activity of this kind, and always keeping its state.

Hmm, sounds like it could be solved with a singleTop or something like that. It is already singleTop I don't think it can be singleInstance because then it can't receive onActivityResult.

I think recovering the previous state would be enough.
