L10N - singular/plural - easy fix

Hi,

can you please split singular and plural form for notification_summary_updates and notification_summary_installed ? in general, you should always split singular and plural so we can translate it easily.

I assume those may also benefit a singular/plural form: tab_installed_apps_count : Installed (%d) tab_updates_count : Updates (%d)

Yup, this is important in many languages. We should at least look at the official Android way to support these: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/string-resource.html#Plurals

This might be on topic, Weblate says: Some checks have failed on your translation: Same plurals which apparently is an error, while this is not an error in the actual translated language.

Any idea on how to fix this?

@licaon-kter I'm sorry, can you give the link for this error? I see no validation error for French language: https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/f-droid/f-droid/fr/#stats So I think your error is not related to this issue. Anyway, to solve it, you should see a category "string needing action" or equivalent, and correct the string.

While Romanian has Plural equation: n==1 ? 0 : (n==0 || (n%100 > 0 && n%100 < 20)) ? 1 : 2: https://hosted.weblate.org/translate/f-droid/f-droid/ro/?checksum=527f1bdd7d083866

Looks like a site issue, those rules are wrong for Romanian and maybe for others, but is that something we can fix or the F-Droid team ( @eighthave ) needs to raise this issue with the Weblate team?

Well... What you meant is: Weblate's way of handling Romanian plurals is wrong? I assume it should be the same than cldr: http://www.unicode.org/cldr/charts/latest/supplemental/language_plural_rules.html

I double checked with a Romanian contributor involved in Mozilla, GNOME and Fedora: Weblate"s behavior it is correct. I learned this weekend that the Romanian plurals works that way: for each hundreds, first twenty number is "20 eggs", the rest is "20 of eggs".

Here, in Weblate, the Romanian translation is wrong:

1. it should write the number of application with %0.65
   $d (I assume it should be$
   d applicație)
2. when the number is bigger than twenty shoud add "de" (I assume it should be %1$d de applicație)

Yep, I stand corrected, silly me I did not though this through apparently.
