Category View: Not able to horizontal scroll in each category

What did you do? (clear steps if possible)

Opened the category view and swiped left to scroll through the category. Some worked and some didn't.

What I'm seeing here (Nexus 5, Android 7.1, v0.103-alpha1-14-ge28e29455e) is sometimes trying to scroll horizontally does a vertical scroll.

However, it does always work after 2-3 tries.

It seems like the swipe has to be perfectly horizontal, and even a bit of vertical movement makes it move vertically.

I'm noticing that when I flick really fast, it tends to prefer to scroll vertically. However whenever I scroll slowly with my finger, that it will respect my wish to scroll horizontally. Seems like when I interact with it slowly that it has an imaginary 45 degree angle where anything less than that results in horizontal scrolling, and anything above results in vertical scrolling (as it should be).

Can I close this issue? Or is there a problem with the flick behaviour such that I need to address it?

It does seem like the scrolling behavior needs improvement, but doesn't seem like a blocker to me.

I haven't noticed anything specifically wrong with the current behaviour, and am unable to reproduce what is discussed here. I'm goign to close this, but as usual, feel free to reopen if anyone finds anything happening in the current builds.
