Support localized app metadata
The index-v1
format supports localized summaries and descriptions of apps. We should support those in RepoMaker by allowing people to add summaries and descriptions in other languages.

The index-v1

The JSON for the metadata localization looks essentially like this:
{
"apps": [
{
"summary": "A summary",
"description": "A description",
"localized": {
"en-US": {
"Summary": "A summary",
"Description": "A description",
}
"de": {
"Summary": "Eine Zusammenfassung",
"Description": "Eine Beschreibung",
},
},
},
]
}
I assume that the non-localized summary
and description
are here to stay and are the default or fallback for when no localized versions exist.
What is strange is that the localized keys start with a capital letter while the default ones are all lowercase. @eighthave is this intentional and going to stay like this?
Looks like these keys are just about to change. The complete list of new metadata keys (without screenshots and graphics) currently looks like this then:
name
summary
description
video
