Emails about instance upgrades don't say what is/was changed

We get a barrage of emails like this:

GitHost Instance Upgrade Scheduled For XXX.githost.io
A new version of GitLab is now available. This new version may include new features, optimizations, or security fixes. An upgrade for instance XX.githost.io has been scheduled and will be performed at 2016-11-02 15:21:26 UTC. The upgrade should take about 10 minutes and during this time your instance availability may go up and down.
We will send you another email when the upgrade has completed.

It would be really helpful if the emails would say what was changing. We seem to get more upgrades than there are versions of GitLab EE released, which really confuses us, we literally have no idea what is actually changing.
