Since macOS 14.10 the security posture of Apple increased release by release. Certain paths of your disk belogns to specific applications and your terminal will not be able to access without an explicit permission.
It is possible to grant full-disk access to your terminal, to avoid being asked each time, [this guide](https://gitlab.com/gnachman/iterm2/-/wikis/fulldiskaccess) explains how to enable it for iTerm2 but can easily be adapted for each terminal application.
