No, there is no manual how to adapt alertmanager for sending alerts for specific channels.

We need to update gitlab-prometheus cookbook. Add entry like here - https://gitlab.com/gitlab-cookbooks/gitlab-prometheus/blob/master/templates/default/alertmanager.yml.erb#L78.

I'll try to figure out, maybe it is possible to make receiver which accept all channels.
