change the chef environment of production machines
We have already moved cny, stg and pre to their own envs: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/infrastructure/issues/2763
It is agreed that we will let that sit, and make sure a deploy works fine with envs before proceeding to prod.
This is the issue which deals with moving servers considered production into the prd chef environment.
