Set up Redash data analysis tool for version.gitlab.com
Per the discussion regarding setting up Periscope (https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/infrastructure/issues/856), Redash seems like a very good alternative instead. It is open source and free to install on premise. I've installed it and tried it and it is a great tool to create data visualizations on the fly.
Request
- Set up Redash internally, with it pointing to the db of version.gitlab.com
- Set up access so that all GitLab folks can view all the visualizations in this Redash instance (but not accessible to the general public).
- Set up access so that all GitLab folks can create visualizations in Redash.
