Driving more demand for EE on our homepage
While our new homepage is an improvement and I like the education it has as you scroll down, I feel we are missing a huge opportunity above the fold. We do not mention any of our products to help visitors self select and learn more (like .com, CE and EE). The only two call to actions on the page are sign up which takes them to .com and learn more which takes them to CE download.
I suggest we inform visitors on how they can use GitLab (hosted or on-premise) and then for on-premise drive visitors to learn about EE first and drive to a trial. As we create the EE focused pages and EE product pages, this will support the path visitors can take as they learn more about EE. CE would be more of a down sell and choice if EE is not right for them yet. For hosted we have .com and GitHost.
