Frontend Topic Presentations
During our weekly frontend meeting today, we decided that every FE developer should do a topic presentation (approximately one presentation per month).
The main purpose behind this is for career development and can be summarized into two objectives:
- To keep up with the latest frontend technologies
- Practice presenting so that we are better prepared for speaking at conferences/meetups
Future Goals:
- Record these topic presentations and publish them online
Instructions for FE developers
- Each FE developer should edit this issue description and select a month
- He/she should present on the 2nd Friday of the selected month
Guidelines
- Each presentation will be scheduled automatically for the 2nd Friday of the month (same time as the team call's time)
- Each presentation should last between 30 mins to 1 hour (Including Q&A)
- Each topic should be FE related. Ideally something that would benefit the team
- Feel free to reuse a previous presentation or use this time as a practice presentation for an actual conference/meetup presentation
- If more than 11 people are interested in signing up, we will open up more slots this year (more than 1 presentation per month) for people to choose from. We just don't want to overload everyone with meetings
