GitLab Pages 404 page not being rendered properly

Visiting any nonexistant GitLab Pages URL on gitlab.io (like for example the url https://maxlaumeister.gitlab.io/nonexistant/) shows HTML source code instead of a rendered 404 page.

This is because the page is being served with an HTTP header of Content-Type: text/plain, when it needs to be served as Content-Type: text/html. I kindly ask that one of the GitLab engineers fix the content type. Thanks!

I believe this is fixed via gitlab-org/gitlab-pages@b0ac2a7d and will be deployed in the next RC.
