Post Call Notes:

Drew and I started this call to debug his two tickets:

• 500 on GitLab.com where we weren't able to see it in sentry
• 404 on a customer's repo but everything was in place.

Both were due to caching. We learned about Gitaly pushing Ascii 8-bit to rails and rails barfing on that, and we learned that The redirection cache affected a customer's rename. @dblessing can you link to the issues you created here and the related tickets as well?

For my tickets, We learned how to use LabelLink to find labels for an MR and we brainstormed why a gitlab repo might go missing for an emergency customer.
