Have better comparison pages

CC @scornille since he is working on comparison page updates as well. Join forces!

@regisF let's catch up and discuss. I am currently working on the content to add to the design pages, but it would be great to get your input on how we can improve the pages. Here is the issue

@amara @scornille thanks! I created this issue because the one you mention does not address the question directly - it's about downloading the content (which is awesome btw).

I think the discussion about an actual redesign (perhaps it's a strong word) should be in a separate issue - that is, this issue.

Ideally, for the Comparison table, the content would be in a file /comparison/gitlab-vs-github.yml, then we'd have something like

Can we do that the same way we use features.yml to auto populate the /feature page @connorshea ?

We don't have to do it for the first iteration, but it'd be nice to have.

@regisF I quite like that idea, it'll take a bit of work but it should definitely be possible.

@connorshea is this "bit of work" feasible before next Friday, in your opinion?

@connorshea that's awesome. I think having the content in a .yml file would be a better way to manage it, do you agree?

Because as we are moving towards a table, maintaining a markdown a table is a bit of a nightmare.

@regisF yeah, definitely. I'd want to make sure we think of situations where we need to say more than 'Yes'/'No', or if we care about those?

@connorshea let's wait for @scornille 's opinions about this, but I have the feeling that we won't have situations other than Yes/No/SortOf.

@regisF here is the design concept for the redesigned page. It follows your wireframe pretty closely with the exception of having the dropdown in closer proximity to the comparison table it belongs to. I felt the overview should be contained in it's own section and below that you can make your comparison selection.

This should be enough to get going — I'm going to work on a few logo variations for the header depending on what's being compared. Look for a mockup of those later today. cc @annabeldunstone @travsten @connorshea @scornille

Here's what the dropdown looks like — styled fairly similar to GitLab (product) dropdowns:

We can use the dropdowns from the compensation calculator for this, e.g. https://about.gitlab.com/jobs/developer/

Here are all of the different logo headers for the features table — specifically distinguishing GitLab CE and EE. Some are a bit hard to read (screenshot is at 50%), but you get the idea.

@travsten @connorshea you can find the icon and logo assets here.

@scornille if we could save the JIRA and Jenkins comparisons for a second MR that'd be ideal :)

@mitchellwright not sure if this is the correct thing to ask, but with the website page views numbers in this issue now, do you think we should make this issue confidential?

Good point @scornille. Probably not a huge deal, but I changed it to a link to the proper Google Analytics report instead of a screenshot.

@scornille @mitchellwright I don't think its necessary to make the issue confidential, because if you are not an authorized user of our Google Analytics account (or signed into your account for that matter) the link will dead end you.

Another way to improve the dropdown would be to list the competitor first (e.g BitBucket Server vs. GitLab EE). Right now GitLab is first in all cases so an alphabetical ordering on this list would be pointless.
