Comparison page: Fixed comparison table header needs improvement

Can we find a way to improve the comparison table fixed header? cc @jschatz1 @annabeldunstone @iamphill

Currently it has some extra white space below the horizontal gray line that does not feel very polished, perhaps a subtle drop shadow will work better here instead of the gray line + extra whitespace. The fixed header is also shown beyond the end of the table.
