Make logo's consistent
- Should be the same size (respecting aspect ratio)
- O'Reilly should be http://www.bitlit.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/OReilly-Logo.png and not have a cut off o
- Swap CERN and IBM position

Swapping CERN / IBM can be completed and I am also thinking of removing the borders (it looks cleaner with more whitespace).
The replacement of O'Reilly logo, as well as making them all the same size will take a considerable amount of effort and I'm wondering regarding ROI. It will take sizing every icon equally, rebuilding the sprite in Photoshop, adjusting CSS placement, and then individually handling each icon, which takes time if the sprite wasn't built properly using Photoshop initially.
Another solution would be to not create a CSS sprite and to just have the server load every resource individually, which has the cons of user experience (it'll take longer to load page) and higher server/resource load. The nice thing about this is that it allows me to size each image faster (just CSS) without having to use Photoshop.
My suggestion would be to use a CSS sprite and remove the borders so it's not to obvious they are out of sync and to leave the O'Reilly logo as it is.
We discussed this. Will use individual images to make them easy to change. Remove borders. Use full width of individual image for each logo.
(not sure why it's not showing, but this has been addressed in: !573 (merged) )
