New headers for FB, Twitter, LinkedIn

Design new header images for our social media presence.

For twitter - perhaps make the profile picture slightly different so people can tell who is replying from which handle support, status, etc.

From their Help files - "Banner - You can also customize your own banner as an image file and add it to your page. The best banner images are 960px wide by 150px high."

We have some colour options as well.

Hey guys, having some fun with Twitter and how to distinguish the 3 accounts. I think you'll like the system I've come up with...

In the images below I REALLY love the orange header, it gives off a great energy, and I'd love for that to be used for the main @gitlab account (mocked up as Support). But given the current state of the brand I feel the purple>blue gradient aligns a bit better...any thoughts/feedback?

The orange might be a little too saturated for such a large header. They all look great though.

I love all the play with geometric shapes based on the Tanuki, and transparent overlay. Beauteous!

For the record we also discussed:

• Keeping the main ID as a neutral, and the variations with signature colours.
• Choosing similar background treatment for the small icon. (whether patterned or solid)

Here's a quick update taking feedback into consideration and a look at how it may appear on Facebook.

@nearlythere and I discussed having consistent avatars in relation to the corresponding header image — it helps distinguish which account is which on Twitter. As you'll see below I ran into a bit of a conflict with the Support version...orange on orange doesn't work so well for the avatar. So I resorted to gray, but open to other ideas.

I like the suggestions.

Love them. I don't love the light gray over the orange for the GitLab support icon. How does it look as a dark gray?
