I can't find information about "gitlab releases"

But even worse: I wanted to know if Gitlab has had any releases since I tried it last, and I didn't see anything obvious on the Gitlab page, so I googled for "gitlab releases", and the 4th hit is the Gitlab repository clone on Github. I knew I could go there and click on the handy "Releases" tab, which would list each of the versions and the date it was released. Question answered!
