Invalid Markdown Relative Link

1. GitLab 7.8.1
2. Project only has a develop branch
3. When creating a link in the README ### [A File](file.txt) ###) it links to blob/master/file.txt instead of blob/develop/file.txt

Do you know, was this working before 7.8?

I did not know know if the bug was in previous versions. It appears the relative link bug is limited to the Readme Tab:

1. From the "Readme" Tab of the project it links to "master"
2. From README.md file in "Files" it links, correctly, to "develop".

Any update on this issue?

Thanks for the issue report. This issue has already been fixed in newer versions of GitLab. Due to the size of this project and our limited resources we are only able to support the latest stable release as outlined in our contributing guidelines. In order to get this bug fix and enjoy many new features please upgrade. If you still experience issues at that time please open a new issue following our issue tracker guidelines found in the contributing guidelines.

Not sure why this got closed - this issue is still present on Gitlab.com itself (which purports to be running 8.1.4-ee according to https://gitlab.com/help). See the example links from this post and from issues 1852 and 2707.
