Build status

How would one include the fancy build status image in the readme.md of a project in version 8.4.x as you are using in your own readme.md?

I'm running my own GitLab-ce installation and provide some opensource projects. So I'd liek to be able to use it in the readme.md on github as well as the builds are processed locally.
