Clicking on project name now trigger switcher instead of navigating me to project home page

Clicking gitlabhq now triggers project switcher but it should navigate me to project home page instead

@jschatz1 can we fix this one before release? I find it quite annoying since I would expect link to continue work as link instead of triggering this switcher.

@creamzy what do you think about it? I see how project name can be trigger for dropdown but I find it quite annoying since it was easy way to navigate to project home page. Maybe name should stay link and dropdown button should trigger switcher?

@dzaporozhets there was an issue about similar idea, and it was decided that only the caret should be a trigger. The only concern was the size of the icon, so I suggested to make clickable area bigger, like 12x12

Is this the same as here?

Can we have the project title still link to the project root page? I often use that instead of the home/"Project" link in the sidebar. @DouweM

But I do believe we need to proceed with the solution from !2438 (merged), if you're afraid the hit area is too small , we can do not the caret, but chevron-down in circle

@creamzy Right! Lets do separation between link and dropdown. If people would complain on small click area then chevron-down in circle
