Build badge not displaying correct status

My badges aren't displaying the correct status, as in:

• https://gitlab.com/middleman-themes/middleman/badges/master/build.svg - [build | skipped] - but build passed;
• https://gitlab.com/themes-templates/hexo/badges/master/build.svg - [build | running] - but build passed;

there are others too.

Am I using the correct path?

@virtuacreative I see correct badges. This is probably build badge image cache issue. Can you try clearing a cache? If this is it, we should send correct cache-related headers for badges.

Okay, so this is a cache issue, and I think we should fix it in 8.6 (hopefully). Setting milestone 8.6, is this @ayufan?

On the other hand, we can consider this as a bug /cc @DouweM
