GitLab 7.10 regressions

This is a meta issue to discuss possible regressions in this monthly release and any patch versions.

Please do not raise issues directly in this issue but link to issues that might warrant a patch release.

The decision to create a patch release or not is with the release manager who is assigned to this issue. The release manager will comment here about the plans for patch releases.

UI Bug on loadingbar #1464 (closed)

A merge request fixing broken links to help pages in the app was merged, but the commit didn't make it into the RCs. Notified DZ for cherry-pick.

Fix for #1448 (closed): !548 (merged). Since the "Transfer" project settings currently doesn't have a Spinach test, it was taking me more than an hour to write a proper test. Committed the fix at least for now.

Fix to the Gitorious import error: !576 (merged).

Compare commits broken in v7.9 when a branch contains a forward slash: #1399 (closed). Fixed in !582 (merged).

Wiki search broke in v7.10: #1547 (closed). Fixed in !592 (merged).

Gitlab 7.10 doesn't encode hash signs in urls and breaks links to Gitlab CI: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ci/issues/145. Fixed in !609 (merged).
