Previous filters are missing when a different Status Tab is chosen on listings

Steps

1. Go to the issues listing
2. Filter by author
3. Now choose the Closed tab

Expected

The selected author should be kept in the filters

Actual

The author dropdown has been reset

As an aside note, I think the text search filter should also be preserved as @rspeicher mentioned:

The text filter & dropdown filter preserving state between tabs can both be fixed at the same time as they both use the same function to change the current state

I've found another Scenario related to this problem:

Steps

1. Go to the Merge Request list of a project
2. Click on the Merged tag
3. Try to filter the listing by author

Expected

I should see all the merged MRs from that author

Actual

The author filter is being ignored and all the MRs are being shown.
