Currently viewed issue closed by commit message is not fully updated

1. Open an issue in the browser
2. Create a commit message which closes the above issue and push it

The issue is closed, the message is added to the log view, but the status bar and Close button are not updated

This is currently a real issue but not a bug. Our comment section polls. Our issue state does not poll so while the comment section may be updated the state won't change. This is something we'd like to implement in the future. I've made an issue to get this fixed https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/14852. Closing for now.
