Dependent issues

This really a deal breaker, I'd love to be able to make issues dependent on others.

Great proposal.
I very often face situations where some issues can't be closed until other issues are done.

This could be easily integrated with the task list, possibly by doind something as simple as

• #1 (closed)
• #2 (closed)
• #3 (closed)

Where gitlab would automatically check the boxes if the issue is closed?

@sils Thanks for the proposal! Another issue that covers the same proposal has gained a bit more traction and contains lots of discussion. I'm going to close this issue in an attempt to keep the conversation contained in the active issue.
