Unread notification support

Are there any feature plans for unread notification support? A good example is how Github handles unread notifications.

The User Activity is nice but I have a hard time knowing which comments I haven't yet seen.

This is the only feature I miss having from Github. Being able to stay on top of when comments have been made to an issue or merge request you have subscribed to is a must. Going to my email then back to gitlab to find out is a clunky way of finding out someone commented.

This has been implemented with the Todos feature.
