Quick search field does not seem to work anymore.

How to reproduce

• Use the search window to search for some code e.g. print
• You can press the Enter key or do something else but nothing happens (tested wih FireFox , IE11)
• Expected: It redirects you the search page where it shows matches in source code etc.

I am also able to reproduce this on Chrome 52.0. This looks like regression

It is! @schlauch this is a duplicate of #20627 (closed), which is fixed by !5888 (merged). That MR will be in 8.11.1 which we expect to release later today.
