UX Design
To lay out my final outcome for this issue:
- Still spawn popup immediately at just a colon
:
or a slash/
- Remove instant selection of first item.
- Select is possible with "press down arrow or right arrow or hover it with your mouse/tap on it on a touch screen"
- If selected "enter" would summon the selection (either a emoji or slash command)
- When you are 1 character into an emoji or slash command like:
:c
or/c
it will begin to automatically select the top row item as it does right now even without a single character.
