Hovers don't go away

Summary

Having faster hovers on all or elements is awesome. But for some reason, they stick around longer than they should.

Steps to reproduce

For example, if you hover over a link and then click on that link using cmd-click to open it in a new tab, then go back to the original tab, the hover is still there even though your mouse is nowhere near the element.

Expected behavior

Hover text should disappear when the mouse is no longer hovering.

Actual behavior

Hover text stays there until you click somewhere on the page.
