gitlab ci output page blank

just setup CI build for gitlab-ci build passed but can't see the output of build

so i did an update to gitlab to see if that fixes anything and am even running on latest gitlab and yet same issue

1. Why does this issue happen? Any hint at what causes it?

2. How do i fix it?

funny enough after i fixed the https issue behind proxy server here https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/14287#note_20079778

then this got fixed; i am now able to see output

So it is related!
