I have a partial fix for this in !1354 (merged).

I don't understand the rationale behind the drastically different preview styling in note_form.scss under .note-edit-form.

@dzaporozhets Can you look at why the preview text has a drastically different styling than the Markdown text (.note-edit-form in note_form.scss)? Is this intentional?

Just wanted to get people's feedback on the Markdown preview font with 8.0. I made the input and preview fonts the same, but somehow I find that less pleasing. Take a look for yourself:

In 7.14, the preview font was not a fixed-width font, but it is in 8.0. When the text is longer, the large blocks of preview fixed-width font looks a little odd. What are all your thoughts?

I don't think the preview should use a fixed-width font. It should be as close as possible to how it will look when the note is actually live.

Yeah, I think that's the way to go. I think it threw me and others off because the 15-point fixed-width input font is so much bigger than the 13-point preview font. Perhaps we need to shrink the input font as well?

Couldn't we bump the preview font up to 15?
