Confusing progressbar when loading a next page (UX)

When user navigates from one page to another, there is an orange/red progressbar in top of the page. This progressbar disappears too early and that is confusing, especially when server is under load and response times are longer. Sometimes it takes a few seconds between the progress bar disappearing and page updating.

The progressbar should disappear after the new page is fully rendered. Now it disappears before.

This issue is annoying when navigating between similar pages and I'm not sure whether I'm looking on new content or old content.
