Summary

Manage milestones not accessible from menu when external issue tracker in configured. We use JIRA, so we are redirected to JIRA when clicking on Issues. In the MR menu, milestones is not visible any longer (was there in 8.x)

Solution

So if issues is disabled, merge requests will have the following sub items:

• list

• labels

• milestones

if issues is not disabled it will not have any subnav

We are running 9.0.5

@Ben305 Thanks! I can reproduce it on GitLab.com (v9.0.5) in the following example project:

• https://gitlab.com/issue-reproduce/milestones-with-external-issue-tracker
• Navigate to issues and be redirected to the external issues URL
• There's no way to navigate to the milestones

This is a regression

added Next Patch Release navigation regression reproduced on GitLab.com and removed ~65372 labels

This is due to a design decision we made for %9.0 with https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/26348. Although restoring sub-nav under Merge Requests when project has non-default issue tracker integrated shouldn't be tough.
