Issues search bar not picking up

Issues search bar not working properly in internet explorer when clicking on red line area, but it's working well with other browsers like Chrome, Firefox.

@varun Are you seeing any errors in the browser's Dev tools console when the search bar seems non responsive?

@markglenfletcher I didn't see any console errors. it seems like navigation bar is kind of block or some thing. it's only picking 1/4 portion of the total available navigation bar. if I put some filters over there the space moving little bit further.
