CI not possible to share runners after integration

When CI was a standalone app, one could share a "specific runner" between different projects having sufficiently high permissions in both projects. This doesn't seem possible anymore using the UI, but the runners that were already enabled for several projects still stay enabled, and so the functionality seems to still exist in the codebase.

Would it be possible to update the UI, or document the change and probably suggest the workaround?

It should be still possible. Can you describe me what permission you have on both projects?

I'm the group owner. Maybe I just cannot find the option in UI, but I looked in project settings/*CI*

The same here.

We use gitlab.com and before one runner could be used with several projects (when you started a new project in the 'old' days you see a list of runners and you could simple enable one) now you have to register a new runner for every project.

Multiple projects in the same group all with owner rights.

It seems to be fixed in 8.1.2 (the other runners just reappeared on the runners page). However it would be nice to explain under which conditions are runners for one project listed for another.

This is solved. In the past there was regression in displaying runners.
