Closed issues should be rendered with strikethrough

Gitlab always know when issue is closed or not. So when I mention issue, which is closed, I usually add ~~ around it, to make everyone understand that I mention closed issue.

Why don't Gitlab add ability to automatically strikethrough all closed issues?
