Usernames ending in .atom collide with atom feeds
I signed up as root.atom to confirm this and I get internal server errors when I sign in.
/u/root.atom has two meanings now:
- atom feed of user
root<- this one wins - profile page of user
root.atom
Two possible fixes:
- Check usernames for invalid patterns or
- change atom urls from
.atomto/atom
Highjack the account (root.atom) or contact me if you need access to it. I created it only for testing purposes.
