Its not obvious you can search commits by message on GitLab

@dzaporozhets is it related to how we show/group instant search results in search autosuggestions?

Please check attached image in gitlab-org/gitlab-ce#3400 with autosuggestion design. can i be a solution, or can you explain more, if we are mot on the same page?

@creamzy gitlab-org/gitlab-ce#3400 is nice.

Now Issues page have search filter that allow quickly filter issues by title. Commits page does not have one. You should use top bar search field. And it does not say it will search through commits.
