Change sorting to "Last updated" on default Issues view

Description

As a GitLab.com user, I am typically interested in the latest (chronologically) updated issues on the issues view. Showing last created issues per defaults pretends to show updates, but dismisses the fact that there might be much more activity on existing issues.

Proposal

As a small feature proposal, I want to suggest to change the default sorting order on /issues to "Last updated" (instead of "Last created"). This needs to be evaluated with issue triage people as this might change their flow.

I think the referenced proposal would satisfy this request and leave the existing behaviour unaffected:

The affect of changing the existing default is also being discussed there. Let's close this in favour of that issue
