'build failed' indicators on a project without .gitlab-ci.yml

GitLab 8.2.0.rc1-ee. The project has no .gitlab-ci.yml file, but a new MR we got is showing 'build failed', with these errors on the build page:

Yes, this is present for some time, but since we enabled CI for a new projects this is not nice. I'll change it to be skipped.
