Api does not expose subgroups

Summary

I would like to get list of subgroups in group, but do not see any real way to do so

Steps to reproduce

1. make subgroup to a group
2. go to address https://gitlab.com/api/v4/groups

What is the current bug behavior?

api does not show subgroups

What is the expected correct behavior?

api should show subgroups
